Feature

Record once. Cut for every platform.

A Kapture project holds several timelines over the same media — a full-length 16:9 for YouTube, a tight vertical for Shorts, a square for LinkedIn. Each has its own canvas, trims, caption styling and zooms. None of them duplicates a byte of footage.

Not an export setting — a real cut

Vertical isn't a crop applied at the end; it's its own timeline. Tighten the pacing for social, crop to the action, run bigger captions and a larger cursor — while the landscape cut stays long-form.

Fixes land where they should

Trims belong to each cut; media-level things — a re-recorded take, the transcript — are shared, so fixing a flubbed word fixes it everywhere.

Export each on its own

Pick the tab, export with its platform preset. Presets estimate the file size for your project before you commit.

Questions

Do captions carry across formats?

The transcript is shared; the styling is per-timeline — big and centred for vertical, small and low for landscape.

Does this multiply the project size?

No — timelines are instructions over the same media files.
