Tutorials people can actually follow

Teaching software is pointing: here, then here, now this key. Kapture records the pointing along with the pixels — so the tutorial edit is mostly done the moment you stop recording.

Every step gets a close-up

Zooms are placed from your clicks — viewers see the exact control you used, not a full screen of small UI.

The keys you pressed, on screen

Shortcut chords appear as key-caps, timed to when you pressed them. Plain typing never shows.

A pointer built for teaching

The cursor is drawn from your input — scale it up, smooth it, ripple the clicks, hide it when idle.

Re-record the flubbed step only

Append a take into the same project and cut between takes on one timeline — no starting over.

The whole workflow

  1. Record the workflow at your normal speed — the log catches every click and chord.
  2. Trim the thinking pauses; the zooms and key-caps are already where they belong.
  3. Caption it and export — 60 fps for YouTube if the cursor matters.

Questions

Can viewers see what I typed?

Only shortcut chords render as key-caps; plain typing is excluded by default, so passwords and prose never appear.

What about mistakes mid-recording?

Keep rolling — split and cut later, or append a fresh take for just that section.
